Lecturer – Department of Social Science (Full-time)

Responsibilities

The appointees will be responsible for the planning, development, coordination and delivery of undergraduate social sciences courses, in particular in the area of Asian Studies. He/She will also be expected to teach general education courses including Perspectives on General Education; and engage in scholarly and administrative activities.

Applicants Should

(i) possess a Doctoral Degree in Social Sciences (PhD Candidate will also be considered); (ii) have a high level of subject knowledge in the area of Asian Studies; (iii) have a successful track record of academic/professional experience in tertiary teaching; and (iv) have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Appointees are expected to assume duty in August 2017/January 2018. Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
