The Institute for Political Science of the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (Junior Professor Dr. Antonia Graf) has two vacancies at the earliest possible date

The regular weekly working hours are currently 19 hours and 55 minutes. The remuneration is based on TV-L E 13. It is a project office (I) that is limited to four years according to the project duration and another job as a research associate (II), which is limited to three years , Both positions offer the opportunity for doctorate and independent scientific work within the framework of the required scientific profile.


Task profile

(I) The project office includes the content and organizational participation in the junior research group "Mobility-Energy-Dynamics in Urban Spaces" - in short DynaMo. The willingness to be promoted in the subject area of the junior research group and the junior professorship is required. The DynaMo project is funded by the Social-Environmental Research (SOEF) of the BMBF.


(II) The second position of a research associate may also be linked to the topics of the junior research group. The tasks of the job holder include the support of the professorship in research and teaching; including the publication of research results, the acquisition of third-party funds and teaching (teaching obligation: two semester hours per week).



profiles The job holder must have a university degree (usually political science) completed with above-average achievements, which qualifies for a doctorate in political science. Applicants should be qualified in the field of International Relations and / or International Political Economy and have a good command of German and English. Knowledge of environmental governance - preferably in the field of mobility and / or energy - as well as in-depth knowledge of methods, especially in the area of qualitative methods, are an advantage. The applicants should be interested in inter- and transdisciplinary cooperation.
