The Department of Chicana and Chicano Studies, University of California – Santa Barbara, invites applications for our part-time lecturer pool. Positions are open until filled, contingent on availability of funding and enrollment. We accept applications for all areas of our curriculum. The Department seeks applicants for Academic Year 2018-2019 and Summer 2018.


Successful applicants will have a terminal degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., J.D. or M.F.A.) in a related field; preference will be given to applicants with degrees in Chicana/o Studies and/or a record of teaching in Chicana/o Studies or related field. Salary will be based on qualifications. Application review will begin as needs arise in order to staff available courses.
