Research Assistant I/II in the Sau Po Centre on Ageing within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 201800674) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary term, or a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

 

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Social Sciences, Social Work, Sociology, Education or a related discipline, preferably with at least one year's post-qualification work experience in research projects or training programmes. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese and comprehensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analysis. Experience in teaching-support duties at tertiary institutions is an advantage. The appointee will support an innovative active ageing infusion education and evaluation project in the university. He/She will be responsible for liaison with academic departments; coordination of teaching activities; literature review; data collection and analysis; multimedia production; preparation of presentations, manuals and reports; and other research-related duties as assigned by the investigators.
