Are you an academic with proven abilities to carry out teaching and research in Sociology, passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience in a research-intensive Russell Group University department and able to support and complement our existing strengths?

 

As a research active academic, you will maintain a strong research and publication record, and contribute to the School’s research activities and research culture. You will be expected to deliver undergraduate and taught postgraduate modules in appropriate subject areas, to contribute to core sociology modules and to theory and research methods teaching. You will supervise BA and MA dissertations; and recruit and supervise PhD candidates.

 

You will carry out high-quality research, teaching and management within the school, faculty and university and to contribute to academic leadership.
