Position overview

The ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods is seeking to appoint up to 2 Research Officers in Behavioural Economics and Evaluation to work with a team of social scientists and methodologists in a new and expanding centre. The applicant will work closely with academic staff in the centre to undertake and support empirical analysis on economic and social policy issues. The successful applicant will be integral to the development of a Policy Experiments Lab (PELab) at the ANU. The Research Officers will provide support on a diverse range of research activities, including literature reviews, preparation/analysis of data, preparation of teaching material, drafting of written reports, and administrative duties.

 

It is expected that the Research Officer will have a background in economics or social research. Experience in behavioural economics is desirable. However, those with relevant supporting experience and a desire to develop their skills in this area are strongly encouraged to apply.

 

Either full-time or part-time (at least 17.5 hours per week) appointments will be considered.

 

The ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) is one of seven Colleges at ANU.
