Assistant Professor in Politics and International Studies (1 year Term)

Position Summary The Department of Politics and International Studies (PAIS) in the Faculty of Arts is seeking to hire a one year term appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor to teach International Relations.

 

The anticipated date of commencement is July 1, 2019.

 

The Department is committed to high-quality undergraduate teaching by faculty who are actively engaged in their respective research areas. It also has a strong tradition of service to the community and the profession.

Requirements The successful candidate will be expected to teach broadly in the area of International Relations, though the department has specific interest in the areas of world politics, international law and international relations theory. Candidates should have a completed PhD by the time of appointment.
