Clinical Senior Lecturer in Forensic and Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry

This new post is an exciting opportunity to shape KCL's research strategy for mental health in adults with neurodevelopmental disorders and offending behaviours, and to contribute to developing innovative forensic neurodevelopmental disorder community services.

The successful applicant will have a unique opportunity to develop a novel research programme targeting neurodevelopmental disorders and offending behaviours in adulthood with access to the world-class resources and support from cutting-edge research teams within the Sackler Institute for Translational Neurodevelopment and the Department of Forensic and Neurodevelopmental Sciences at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience.
Clinical sessions are within the South London Mental Health and Community Partnership (SLP). The successful candidate will provide consultant psychiatrist input to the SLP's new community forensic neurodevelopmental disorders service and specialist pathway to enhance the community options to those with intellectual disabilities and/or autism who present a risk of harm to others.

The successful candidate will be medically qualified, eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register and have an MD/ PhD in a relevant discipline with a record of publications in high impact peer-reviewed journals, and with clear potential to build a research team and provide clinical leadership to NHS services

This post will be offered on an indefinite contract

This is a full-time post
