Role DescriptionDepartment of PoliticsThe University of York wishes to appoint an outstanding candidate, with a proven track record of research and teaching in the area of gender and development, to the post of Lecturer in the Department of Politics. The new appointment will undertake research of the highest international standards in their field, contribute to interdisciplinary research and teaching, including the cross-departmental BA in Global Development, and make a major positive contribution to the research standing and culture of the Department and of the Interdisciplinary Global Development Centre (IGDC), a University Research Centre led by the Department of Politics. The person appointed to this position will play a full part in course design, teaching, research supervision, and administration in the Department. The post is available from 1 June 2021 and is on an open contract. Role
