The new appointment will undertake research of the highest international standards in their field, contribute to interdisciplinary research and teaching, including the cross-departmental BA in Global Development, and make a major positive contribution to the research standing and culture of the Department and of the Interdisciplinary Global Development Centre (IGDC), a University Research Centre led by the Department of Politics. The person appointed to this position will play a full part in course design, teaching, research supervision, and administration in the Department. The post is available from 1 June 2021 and is on an open contract. Role To contribute to the Department’s research and teaching profile in the areas of both gender and development To develop research, projects and proposals and carry out individual and collaborative research projects To lead on and contribute to the production of excellent research outputs and research outcomes.
