This is not a remote teaching opportunity, and these positions are dependent upon the instructional needs of the department and may be full- or part-time. Currently we are seeking candidates with teaching expertise in the Sociology of Adolescence. This broad subfield focuses on the historic emergence of adolescence as a distinct life phase, processes of socialization, forces of social control and/or medicalization, intergenerational transmission and change, the influence of peer cultures, the emergence of youth cultures, and cultural representations of adolescence. Winter Quarter 2025 January 35 – March 21 QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated experience in teaching at the college level, and advanced degree in Sociology or related discipline is required.
