Position description

Lecturers in Sociocultural Anthropology

The UCLA Department of Anthropology seeks part-time lecturers with outstanding teaching records to fill positions for academic year 2021-22. Successful candidates will teach upper-division undergraduate courses Anthro 3: Culture & Society (Fall 2021), Anthro 100: History of Anthropology (Winter 2022), Anthro 149: Selected Topics: Feminist Anthropology (spring 2022), or Anthro 169: Selected Topics in Regional Cultures (Spring 2022). Applicants are required to hold a Ph.D. at the time of their application, and preference will be given to those who have demonstrated effectiveness in lecture courses.

Terms and conditions of employment are subject to UC policy and any appropriate collective bargaining agreement. Salary based on qualifications.
