Description

 

The UCLA Institute for Research on Labor and Employment seeks applications for temporary, part-time, non-tenure track lecturer positions during the 2019-20 academic year. Lecturer appointments are established quarter by quarter according to the instructional needs and budget constraints of the department. Quarter academic appointment dates are as follows:

 

Fall: October 1-December 31st

Winter: January 1-March 31st

Spring: April 1-June 30th

 

Applications will be kept on file for consideration for any openings that may occur throughout the year. Responsibilities will include lecturing, conducting regularly scheduled office hours, and the writing and grading of assignments and exams.

 

Ph.D. or terminal degree required. Priority will be given to candidates with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching Labor Studies and research methodology. Please indicate your areas of specialization.
