Salary: £39,609 to £48,677 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with an established research and business development team and support the advancement of Social Science research and knowledge exchange in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Nottingham. The role holder will work across a range of disciplines within the Nottingham University Business School and School of Economics initiating and supporting research development activities and acting as a point of liaison for the academic research base within the Faculty of Social Sciences. Reporting to the Head of Research and KE (Arts and Social Sciences) in the Centre for Advanced Studies for the Arts and Social Sciences (CAS), the main objective of the role is to raise awareness and develop opportunities for research and research-led knowledge exchange and impact.

Candidates should have previous experience of research project design, writing bids, budget development, bringing teams together and project management within the context of Social Science research. They should be educated to degree level or equivalent in the Humanities or Social Sciences, with an understanding of research cultures in higher education.  Existing knowledge and experience of Social Science research funding is desirable.

This full time role is offered on a permanent contract and job share arrangements may be considered.
