About the positions

The Department of Social Work (ISA) wants to strengthen its competence in the child welfare field, and highlights up to two permanent positions as a senior lecturer in child welfare. The positions are primarily linked to the department's study programs at the bachelor level, with particular emphasis on the bachelor's degree in child welfare.

 

The positions report to the head of department Riina Kiik.

 

Responsibilities

Teaching tasks such as lectures, supervision and skills teaching, primarily on the Bachelor's program in child welfare

examination work

develop professional development within their field of study

administrative tasks

Take care of the academic responsibility with the other academic staff of the unit

participate in the implementation of the teaching program according to the current study plan, and in the work on further development of the subject area and the teaching program, including also continuing and further education

supervision of students on bachelor programs within their field of study

eligibility Requirements

For the positions as a senior lecturer, a master's degree or equivalent is required in the relevant subject area. It is preferable to search for child protection educators, but applicants with other education relevant to the subject will be considered. Those who are employed must have competence in child-care initiatives.

Experience with environmental work / environmental therapy and foster home work is desirable.

 

Good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian / Scandinavian and English.

Good IT expertise and experience with the use of digital tools.

 

Documented basic vocational qualifications are required. Those who are hired without having formal basic vocational qualifications and who cannot document corresponding qualifications, are required to undergo approved courses within two years after employment. Uniped v / NTNU offers qualifying courses.

Educational skills and qualifications will be emphasized. The assessment will be based on documented pedagogical material, forms of presentation in any scientific work, experience from teaching, and educational background of another kind. Quality and breadth will be considered. Current candidates will be invited to trial and interview.

Salaries and terms

The position as senior lecturer code 1009 is normally paid from gross NOK 435,500 - 631.700 per year. years depending on qualifications and seniority. From salaries, 2% of statutory deposits are withdrawn from the Government Pension Fund. 

 

The employment is carried out in accordance with the principles of the State Employees Act, and legislation regulating the export of knowledge, technology and services. After hiring, you must expect changes to the work area.
