Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream - CLTA - Ethics and Computer Science
Date Posted: 04/26/2022 Description: The Department of Philosophy and the Department of Computer Science in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the University of Toronto invite applications for a three-year contractually limited term appointment (CLTA) in the area of Ethics and Computer Science instruction. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream and will be a joint appointment between Philosophy (51%) and Computer Science (49%). The expected start date will be July 1, 2022, or shortly thereafter, with an end date of June 30, 2025. Candidates are expected to show evidence of a commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and the promotion of a respectful and collegial learning and working environment demonstrated through the application materials. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applicants must provide the name and contact information of three references. At least one reference must primarily address the candidate’s teaching.
