Salary
£36914 to £49553 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the post of Assistant Professor in Politics (Teaching and Learning) within the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham. The successful candidate will have research expertise in one or both of the following areas: 

  • Political theory
  • British politics

The successful candidate will be expected to develop high quality modules for undergraduates and postgraduates; conduct assessments of student work at all levels; to seek grant income for teaching related activities and to contribute to administrative tasks in the School. 

The successful candidate must have a PhD in Politics or related subject (candidates nearing completion may be considered).

This full-time (36.25 hours per week) post is available from 1 September 2021 and will be offered on a permanent contract.
