Role Overview

The Institute of Law and Technology is seeking an Assistant or Assistant Professor specializing in Information Technology Law. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, project work, and departmental administration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Teach courses on information technology law in accredited degree and lifelong learning programs

  • Prepare study materials and teaching content

  • Conduct scientific research, publish results, and engage in applied research

  • Participate in project activities and contract research

  • Contribute to organizational and administrative tasks related to academic and scientific work


Skills and Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Completed Master’s degree in Law

    • PhD required for the position of Assistant Professor

  • Ability to teach and publish in Czech and English

  • Expertise and qualified interest in Information Technology Law

  • Demonstrated experience in independent teaching at university level

  • Demonstrated experience in independent scientific research (publications, projects)

  • High moral integrity and professional ethics

  • Compliance with Section 70 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll. regarding concurrent employment
