Experience with lecture preparation and delivery. Experience with curriculum development. Experience developing online course materials and lectures. A demonstrated commitment to excellent pedagogical inquiry. A demonstrated interest in teaching-related scholarly activities. The successful applicant will have: Strong skills in sociological research methods. A commitment to teaching sociology as an empirically grounded social science. Experience with, and demonstrated excellence in, teaching both: Large lecture courses. Small discussion-based sociology courses (preferred). Evidence of excellence in teaching and commitment to pedagogical inquiry will be demonstrated through: Teaching accomplishments. Awards and recognitions. Presentations at significant conferences. A comprehensive teaching dossier. Strong letters of reference. RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will be assigned: Teaching responsibilities. Service responsibilities.
