The appointment will be at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. Anticipated start date: July 1, 2026. The successful candidate will also be eligible to be named the John Yaremko Chair of Ukrainian History for a five-year term, renewable following a favourable review. Qualifications Applicants must have: A PhD degree in History or a related area. A clearly demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching. Research and teaching interests that complement and enhance existing departmental strengths. An established international reputation. Ability to sustain and lead innovative and independent research. Capacity to maintain an outstanding, competitive, and externally funded research programme. Note: Specialists of all eras and areas of Ukrainian history are encouraged to apply. Evidence of Excellence Research Candidates must provide evidence of research excellence through: Sustained high-impact contributions and publications with top-ranked presses and in field-relevant journals.
