Permanent Whole-Time UCC wishes to appoint a Work Integrated Learning Co-ordinator (Social Care) based in the School of Applied Social Studies but with a remit to oversee practice education activities for the Apprenticeship in Social Care nationally. The post will involve co-ordinating nationwide to consult social care workers, employers, service managers and other stakeholders to develop and support apprenticeships and on-the-job learning for social care in Ireland. The appointee will report to the Head of the School of Applied Social Studies and will work with others in the School and University and with employers within the Consortium to ensure successful growth and delivery of the Apprenticeship in Social Care. The appointee must have CORU registration as a Social Care Worker or eligibility to apply and secure CORU Social Care registration within 6 months of appointment. The appointee must have a full, clean driving licence and the ability to undertake regular travel throughout Ireland to support national delivery of the Apprenticeship in Social Care.
