Position Summary

Teach HRLR 863 Labor Law in Fall 2022 in the School of Human Resources & Labor Relations.  This masters level course covers the legal requirements on employers and labor organizations in the areas of establishment of representative status, employee rights, negotiation of the collective agreement, and contract administration.  Responsibilities include instruction of 3 credit course, grading, and overall course management.

Required Degree

Masters -human resources or related field.

Desired Degree

Doctorate -human resources or related field.

Minimum Requirements

Master's degree in employment relations, human resource management, sociology, economics, or a related field.

Successful experience as instructor or teaching assistant in the area of labor law at a university level. 

Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging.

Current expertise in at least one research area related to legal standards in the area of labor law in the United States. 

Desired Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at a masters university level. 

Demonstrated ability to interact with undergraduate students.
