Lecturer in Modern European History

The School of History, Classics, and Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh is pleased to invite applications for a Lectureship in Modern European History.

A research speciality in any period of Modern European History is welcome. The candidate will be expected to teach honours classes on the History of the Third Reich and contribute to team-taught courses at all levels, including pre-honours, honours, and postgraduate levels. The candidate will also contribute to the supervision of undergraduate and masters dissertations.

This post is available fixed-term for 11 months to provide cover for a member of staff on a research grant for the term of the grant.

This is a full time (35 hours per week).

Salary: £40,792 to £48,677 per annum.
