Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed with the possibility of future reappointment based on performance and department need.. The number of positions varies from quarter to quarter, depending on the needs of the department. Positions may range from 33% to 100% time. The part time position(s) are for one or more courses in the subfields of American Politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations, Political Theory, and Quantitative Methods. The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and service. The pool will close on March 31, 2023. If you would like to be considered after that time, and the pooled position is advertised again, you will need to submit a new application. The minimum requirement to be considered an applicant is the completion of all requirements for a Ph.D. except the dissertation (ABD status) in Political Science or a closely related field, at the time of application. A minimum of one year teaching experience at the University or college level is required. Additional qualifications (required at time of start)
