DescriptionThe Social Sciences Collegiate Division at the University of Chicago is now accepting applications for part-time Lecturers who will teach up to four courses in the Power, Identity, and Resistance sequence or other Core sequences in the Social Sciences Core during the 2025–26 academic year. Power, Identity, and Resistance is a three-quarter general education sequence that introduces students to a variety of approaches in the interpretive social sciences. It explores the philosophical foundations of modern social and political thought through critical, chronological study of original texts.
