Lectureship in Commercial Law, School of Law, College of Business and Law

As part of the package of significant strategic investment in the School of Law which is seeing the appointment of a Professor in EU Law titled the Synnott Family Chair in EU Law and 4 further lectureships, UCC also wishes to appoint a 1-year Lectureship in the field of Commercial Law (including but not restricted to international commercial law, commercial transactions, regulation and compliance, financial services law, corporate law, corporate governance and IP Law).

The Lectureship is intended to build on the Commercial Law strength of the School. The postholder will be expected to be research active with the potential for securing ERC funding and will be expected to make a full contribution to the School’s programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level as appropriate under the direction of the Dean of the School of Law.

Appointment may be made on the Lectureship Below the Bar Salary Scale: €34,067 - €60,167
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
