Manager of Law (University College Cork)

UCC wishes to appoint an experienced administrator to the role of School Manager in the School of Law. The School is currently ranked 73rd in the world and in the top 20 in the EU (QS 2024 Subject Rankings) and has significant research ambitions, hosting a European Research Council award as well as two Irish Research Council Laureate awards along with other awards. It offers a suite of 7 BCL undergraduate programmes, 8 LLM taught programmes, a graduate LLB along with LLM Research and PhD degrees. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Law, the Manager will have responsibility, with the Dean, for coordinating and managing the operation of all professional services and support functions in the School. The post of School Manager is the most administrative role in the School, reporting directly to the Dean with responsibility and accountability for all aspects of the operations of the School. This post requires a senior level of authority involving extensive engagement of an independent and discretionary, decision‐making nature with staff, University offices as well as external bodies.
