The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to a project investigating risk allocation and grid-scale risk management of renewable energy resources, such as solar and wind farms. The project is funded by the Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-E) and involves four principal investigators at Princeton, UCSB and the energy finance industry, as well as a Tech to Market component. Applicants with expertise in energy finance, stochastic modeling, risk management, and data science are especially encouraged. Postdoctoral appointments are full-time training programs of advanced academic preparation and research training under the mentorship of a faculty member. The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity & excellence of the academic community through teaching, research and service.
