We are looking for highly motivated law students with an interest in legal research related to law and technology (including a strong focus on AI) and/or contract design. The work will support upcoming courses in these areas during the fall semester. Job descriptionResearch assistants will support the instructors in preparing teaching materials and performing legal research for the class. Topics for which research will be requested will cover frontier issues, including fairness and discrimination in AI, the rollout of the AI Act, and the fast-evolving landscape of tech regulation. Salaries are competitive and paid according to ETH standards. ProfileWe are looking for advanced law students (preferably advanced Bachelor or at Master level) with an interest in collaborating with a multi-disciplinary and international team of legal researchers. A successful candidate will have excellent grades and preferably some prior experience in research support. We particularly value candidates who are used to and comfortable addressing cutting-edge research questions where they must be creative and dogged in searching for relevant source materials.
