Dynamics of Tradition and Innovation "at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster is part of the project B3-31" Religion as a Resource in European and International Climate Policy "under the direction of Prof. Doris Fuchs, Ph.D., starting from 01.09.2019

to occupy 65% of regular working hours. The post is limited to three years. Afterwards you have the opportunity to apply for a final scholarship. The regular working hours are currently 39 hours and 50 minutes a week.

 

At the Cluster of Excellence "Religion and Politics" the subjects History, Political Science, Sociology, Catholic and Protestant Theology and Law are involved; Representatives of Islamic Studies, Islamic Theology, Jewish Studies, Egyptology, Archeology, Philosophy, Philology, Art History and Ethnology complement the interdisciplinary spectrum. The task area includes:

Participation in the subproject B3-31 "Religion as a resource in European and international climate policy" (project leader Prof. Doris Fuchs, Ph.D.)
Participation in the team of the chair in general scientific tasks in research, teaching and consulting
Collaboration in the cross-project research activities of the cluster


The activity as a scientific employee should also serve the further academic qualification (doctorate), this includes the participation in the study program of the Graduate School of the Cluster of Excellence.


Requirements:

Above-average master's degree in political science
Proven knowledge of sustainability, possibly climate policy
Expertise in European and international politics, including the relevant political science theories and methods

 

Excellent English skills are required.
