The project is led by Dr. Indrajit Roy. Co-investigators include Dr. Harsh Mander, Ms Natasha Badhwar, Professor Mujibur Rehman, Dr. K Ravi Raman, Dr. Mohsin Alam and Mr Abdul Kalam Azad. You will analyse research results and write up research findings for publication and other suitable forms of communication.  You will assist in the identification and development of potential areas of research and the development of proposals for independent or collaborative research projects. You may assist with undergraduate teaching.

Skills, Experience & Qualification needed

You will be motivated by the ongoing imaginations of citizenship in India and the ways in which notions of citizenship, belonging and membership of the political community are being contested in that country in the context of the Citizenship Amendment Act. You will possess highly developed communication skills to engage effectively with a wide ranging audience, both orally and in writing, using a range of media and will be ably navigate social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You will have the experience and skills to develop research under the mentorship of senior colleagues, you will possess a collaborative ethos, enabling you to identify innovative digital ethnography.

You will hold a Ph.D in the social sciences and possess a nuanced knowledge of contemporary Indian politics required to engage in a project of this nature.
