In the Cluster of Excellence "Religion and Politics. Dynamics of Tradition and Innovation "at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster is part of the project C3-21 under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Holger Strutwolf from 01.04.2020 a position as

to occupy with 100% of the regular working time. The post is limited to three years. The regular working hours are currently 39 hours and 50 minutes a week. Job appointments are also made on a part-time basis, unless there are compelling business reasons in individual cases.

The subjects of History, Political Science, Sociology, Catholic and Protestant Theology and Law are involved in the Cluster of Excellence "Religion and Politics"; Representatives of Islamic Studies, Islamic Theology, Judaism, Egyptology, Archeology, Philosophy, Philology, Art History and Ethnology complete the interdisciplinary spectrum. Further information on the departments involved and the research profile of the Cluster of Excellence can be found at www.uni-muenster.de/Religion-und-Politik/ .


The task area includes:

  • Collaboration in the subproject "Theory of Variations" (Project leader Prof. Dr. Holger Strutwolf)

 

Requirements:

  •  Doctorate (Dr. phil or Dr. theol.)
  •  far-reaching experiences in the textual criticism of the New Testament
  •  Experiences with virtual research environments (Digital Humanities)
  •  Experiences in New Testament Science / Exegesis
  •  Very good knowledge of classical philology / style criticism
  •  Good patristic-theological knowledge
  •  Good knowledge of the Greek
