Researcher in Demography
Ref. No. SU FV-4964-20 Apply at the Department of Sociology. Closing date: 24 January 2021. The Department of Sociology is one of the biggest departments at the Faculty of Social Sciences. It contains the Stockholm University Demography Unit (SUDA). Project description We seek a researcher who will be located in projects with focus on recent fertility change in Sweden and the other Nordic countries. Main responsibilities The position involves research based on Swedish register data and data collected through the 2021 Generations and Gender Survey of Sweden. Qualification requirements Researchers are appointed primarily for purposes of research and must hold a Swedish doctoral degree or an equivalent degree from another country. Assessment criteria In the appointment process, special attention will be given to research skills and the applicant’s previous publications records. S/he needs to demonstrate solid experience of research based on demographic methods and large-scale longitudinal demographic data. Terms of employment The position involves full-time employment for a maximum of two years. Start date is in February 2021 or as per agreement.
