Your role The research specialist will work at the Department of Geography and Spatial Planning and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Birte Nienaber, he/she will: Tasks Contribute to qualitative research activities (e.g. conducting interviews) Participate in writing research proposal Contribute to research publications Facilitate an exchange between practitioners and researchers in the field of health and migration Participate in the dissemination of research findings For further information please contact: Prof. Dr. Birte Nienaber, Email: birte.nienaber@uni.lu Your profile Ph.D. degree in migration studies, public health, psychology, sociology or another relevant field Fluent written and spoken languages skills: English and French. Knowledge in one or more of the following languages would be a plus: Arabic, German, Luxembourgish, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian or Ukrainian Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary and multilingual team Advanced experiences in qualitative research in the field of migration (knowledge specifically on health issues will be considered an advantage) A high level of experience in qualitative data analysis Effective communication and drafting skills Experiences in proposal writing (e.g. EU research projects) would be considered an advantage We offer Multilingual and international character. Your role

Your profile

Ph.D. degree in migration studies, public health, psychology, sociology or another relevant field
