At the Institute for Cultural Anthropology / European Ethnology of the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, the position of a


research assistant (m / w / d) is


50% of the regular weekly working hours (cz. 19.9 hours / week) for a period of 3 years. The pay is based on the fee group 13 TV-L .


Your tasks

• Collaboration in a new research project on "Authenticity and trust in organic food: Innovative communication

approaches along the product chain and in society" • Coordinating participation in project-led film work


Your profile

• well-founded knowledge in the field of direct and visual communication

• well-completed academic studies in cultural anthropology / European ethnology or related discipline

• experience in qualitative field research, image analysis and visual anthropology

• keen interest in interdisciplinary and applied research in the fields of organic food, knowledge, societal change, consumer behavior and sustainability

• desire for a doctorate - it is expected that a doctoral thesis will be developed in the topic area of the project

• interest in research work in collaboration with companies in the organic sector

• very good ability to speak in German and English
