The successful candidate will teach one section of BLAW 3920_02 - Employment Law - during the Winter 2020 semester.  The class is scheduled: Thursdays; 5:30 to 8:15 PM (once per week).

Semester details:

  • Classes: Jan 6 - April 10, 2020
  • Mid semester break:  Feb 17 - 21, 2020
  • Final exams: April 14 - 25, 2020
  • Final grades due: May 1, 2020

  • Canadian Bachelor of Laws (LL.B./JD) degree is required
  • Minimum of three years' work experience in the practice of law is required
  • Membership in the Law Society of British Columbia in good standing is required
  • Preference given to candidates with previous teaching experience
  • Must be able to work cooperatively with colleagues in a team environment and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is an asset
  • Should possess a working knowledge of computer applications, experience in Moodle is an asset
