DescriptionThe Department of Art and Art History at the University of Texas at Austin offers a unique opportunity for professional development in teaching and research. Assistant, associate or full professor faculty positions are available periodically for artists/art historians who are interested in teaching and who have potential to contribute to the development of the academic programs and creative activity in any of the following areas: studio art, design, art history, and visual art studies/art education. The successful candidates are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, develop a research program or other creative activity, collaborate with other faculty, and be involved in service to the university and the profession.
QualificationsQualifications must be commensurate with rank and include an outstanding academic record, significant achievement in original research/creative activity and a commitment to quality teaching.
